We don't have much time left in Los Angeles before we start the drive out to Las Vegas Nevada.
Before we say goodbye to LA, we have a nice leisurely day which started out with a brunch with some fellow blogger friends.
In this photo is Grandma J, who was visiting LA from Texas, Jason and his husband Giancarlo and their son. Hidden in the shadows is Pumpkin Delight .
The brunch was in a restaurant in that was NOT in Beverly Hills, so afterwords the family took a leisurely drive on over to Rodeo Drive. Once we were bored looking at Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, Chanel, Louis Vuitton & Versace, we drove through the Hollywood Hills to check out the homes of the rich and famous.
We eventually fell behind a Star Homes Tour bus and decided to follow it. We figured we might as well get a star home tour without actually paying to go on the tour. The problem was that we couldn't hear whose home it was we were stopping in front of.
When we finally got bored and passed the bus, everyone on board turned their heads and tried to look in our car to see if we were anybody famous.
When we were driving through the hills we stumbled upon this vista point which looked out over the Los Angeles smogline and the Hollywood sign.
The Hollywood sign was built as a real estate advertisement and originally said "HOLLYWOODLAND" The 'LAND' bit fell down during a landslide and hence we have the infamous Hollywood sign.
Did I already tell you that? Well it is so cool I thought you needed to know it twice.
